APB(Program m able Block) intelligent controller is a new type of program m able controller, being program m ed by the use of Function Block Diagram s. The program m ing of APB is sim pler and easier to learn than that of a conventional PLC, which uses ladder diagram s and associated instructions. The design concept for APB series is to program the APB series m ain m achine and APB-H M I with the provided free program software, free from connecting to another H M I. APB-H M I is able to display the input/output status of APB series, the set value and running value of tim er, counter, and analog function blocks, which facilitates the operator to m onitor and control of PLC running status at real tim e. Currently, APB is widely used in m any fields of industry, com m erce, m ining, agriculture, hom e autom ation etc.
